FARGO, ND (Sept. 15, 2015) – The iGoEco Challenge 2015 is back with all new “Lessons” in going green. Running now through Nov. 8, iGoEco encourages area residents to follow “Liddy’s Lessons” and give up their car at least once every two weeks for eco-friendly transportation – walking, carpooling, biking, rollerblading or riding MATBUS!
Metro residents may remember Liddy from last year’s challenge. She’s the hip, fun and wise senior citizen who rides MATBUS and is more than ready to share her eco story through #LiddysLessons. Her advice can be seen in a trio of videos airing on local television networks, the MATBUS Facebook page and iGoEcoChallenge.com.
Participants who complete the iGoEco Challenge every two weeks will be eligible to win individual prizes valued at over $500 each, including an iPad and Beats by Dre Pro headphones. If participants complete all four of the bi-weekly challenges, they will be eligible to win the grand prize of a Samsung 60″ 1080p Smart TV and sound bar, donated by Gate City Bank!
Metro residents can sign up for the iGoEco Challenge by visiting iGoEcoChallenge.com, where they can quickly enter their information and learn about iGoEco. This is also where they will log eco-friendly trips for each challenge period.
For more information, including the bi-weekly prize packages, visit iGoEcoChallenge.com or Facebook and Twitter (keyword – MATBUS).
The iGoEco Challenge, sponsored by MATBUS, is a collaborative partnership with the City of Fargo, the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Y94 and Froggy 99.9.
